Broad Specifications: Hydraulic operated tilting platform to control the tilting precisely by 1 degree with a capacity of tilting from to 60 degrees Length of tilting plateform:15 meters Width of tilting platform :4 meters Load carrying capacity of tilting plateform:25 Tons & supporting frame structure. Roll over protection testing facility for testing structure strength of buses as per AIS-031, CMVR-bus body code practice, ECE-R66 and for homologation.
2. Testing Conducted
Protection testing as per AIS-031 and ECE R-66 for ensuring passenger safety in the case of roll over accidents. As number of accidents due to roll over are significant, carrying out this test helps in ensuring the safety of the bus occupants in case of roll over accidents. This test facility will help STUs and bus body builders, private fleet owners to have bus bodies made as per the bus body standards

Roll-over testing facility, is needed for evaluating structural strength of buses as per AIS-031, ECE R 66, to see whether the structure of buses is satisfying the minimum requirements stated in these standards. This facility shall also be useful for carrying out Roll Over test on other vehicles Bus body builders, Vehicle manufacturers and testing agencies can use this facility to ensure their design meets regulations as per CMVR and also for their R&D work. This test facility can also be utilized for quality assurance & developmental work and R&D study.
