Sheeba Rani K is a Chemical Engineer with academic brilliance in Surface Science & Engineering from National Institute of Technology. Her 9 years of rich experience as Scientist commenced from M/s Ondeo Nalco India Ltd.

At CIRT, she handled laboratories like Fuel, Petroleum, Chemical & Polymer and carried out testing & evaluation of components as per AIS, ECE, ASTM, ISO, BIS & ASRTU specifications. In addition, she also played a key role in formulation specification for components like rubber, petroleum and glass. He work profile also includes managing activities of NABL accreditation pertaining to Polymer lab.

In alternate fuel technology, she escorted the projects like “Pilot plant for production of bio-diesel”, “Setting of new test facility for Oxygen Stability of bio-diesel” and also actively involved in CNG/LPG component testing. She is also a committee member for BIS - TED 26 - formulation of IS Standards for CNG and LPG.

Moreover, as part professional development, she has undergone certified course on Lead Auditor (ISO) and Measuring System Analysis (MSA).She has presented National Level Technical Papers in the area of Bio-Diesel and she is an active member of TSI & SAE India. Her journey in CIRT, also include conducting National Level Training Programmes on the themes like “Current Trends in Vehicle & Fuel Technology” and has attended International Conference on Industrial Tribology.
