Mangesh M Pathak, a Mechanical Engineer by qualification with specialization in Materials; has 28 years of multitalented experience of working in research, consultancy, training, testing and customer service division.

In the initial years of his career at CIRT, he was associated with Automobile Laboratory. His experience at Automobile Laboratory entails a mix of field appraisals of auto components and evaluation to test results. Mangesh M Pathak was also on deputation to ASRTU as an Assistant Director (Technical), wherein he gained the knowledge of processing of tenders for Automotive Components and learnt intricacies of Rate Contract System.

On his repatriation to CIRT, he has handled various responsibilities in the areas of Customer Service, Formulation of Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) & Assistance to Top Management in technical matters. During the time he has also played significant role in National & International research & consultancy projects related to Vehicular Emission and Transport Energy requirements including alternate fuels.

Besides above Mangesh M Pathak has devotedly coordinated several National level training programmes in the areas of alternate fuels, bus body etc. He represented CIRT at National conferences / seminar as Guest Speaker and also taken guest lectures at various prestigious institutes.
