Prashant J Kakade by qualification is a Civil Engineer having academic excellence in Transportation Engineering with over 16 years of versatile experience in research, consultancy and training.

He has spearheaded several consultancy projects in the areas of Public Transport, Road Safety, Traffic Management, including International Project. In Research activity, he has conducted comprehensive research studies in areas of transport management, road safety management and public transport. Also he has done National Level Technical Paper Presentation.

In addition to National Level Training Programmes, as Programme Director he has organized numerous International Programmes for the Top Officials of Transport Sector from countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Ghana. He has represented CIRT at International Conferences like “Intermodal India”. He is frequently in demand from various government and private institutes as guest speaker.

Prashant J Kakade is one of the few recipients who have received “Certificate of Appreciation” from the Hon. Shri Satej D Patil, Minister of State (Home), Government of Maharashtra for significant work done in Maharashtra State Road Safety Mission.
