Syed Hasan Ali served the technical wing of the Indian Navy as an Aircraft Artificer for 20 years. In CIRT, he has versatile experience as In-charge of transport and security, faculty and as a Scientist in S & H (Safety and Homologation) Division.

Currently in S & H Division, he is associated with carrying out third party inspection of buses, vehicle certification, audit of bus body builder’s (STU & non STU) for award of accreditation to bus body builders and type approval certification and conformation of productivity of Safety Critical Components.

Syed Hasan Ali has also contributed significantly in preparation of bus body code and formulation of bus body builder’s accreditation system for MoRT&H and preparation of Urban Bus specification for MoUD.

Having more than seven years of technical experience & profound knowledge of AIS:024, AIS:028, AIS:052 and CMVR provisions, Syed Hasan Ali has presented technical paper on “Ideal Bus for The State Transport Undertakings” which was published in Indian Journal of Transport Management.

In addition, he has ardently coordinated several National level training programmes in the area of Central Motor Vehicle Rules and National seminar on bus “Implementation of Bus Body Code”.
